I was watching the news one day last weekend and discovered that the city is trying to pass an ordinance on the heigth and flashiness of a businesses sign to signify who and where they are. The ordinance will also include banning all digital reader boards. They are saying that these are big distractions for a driver and it will limit the amount of wrecks that occur on our roads. This may or may not be true.
In this era that we live in everyone is trying to outdo everyone else. The bigger, the flashier, the better. Even if they do get this ordinance to pass there will always be something bigger or better that people will come up with to get their business seen before someone else's. What do you think?
