Is Disney Notty?
Disney has worked its way into the hearts of parents and children alike. Even to this day I love watching Disney movies. Every time I watch one I pick up a new scene with subtle adult humor. Most of this humor is so subtle that it is subliminal. Im not going to go into detail but im sure that most people know about this. I feel that this humor is a good thing. It makes parents want to watch movies with thier children. Most likely there are parents that want to watch Veggie Tales, but count me out.

For years I have heard of naughty humor in Disney movies. But have rarely seen it. Maybe I am naive and miss it. It obviously isn't that bad, because I feel if it were really inappropriate we would have people complaining left and right. Maybe a little bit isn't bad then, maybe it does help parents to want to watch those movies. But I think parents should want to spend time with their kids whether its watching Disney movies or whatever else.
I think there is a fine line, a line that is constantly being moved, pushed and shoved back. There are innocent jokes within Disney movies that help keep parents intrigued. But where I begin to feel uncomfortable is if the jokes begin to lose their subtlety. Do not corrupt our children with crude jokes; the world is harsh enough as is. Keep the adults interested but keep it to a minimum.
I'd agree with you that whatever naughty, adult humor Disney puts into their cartoon movies is just so subtle, most people don't pick it up. I mean, hell... I'm not looking for that kind of crap. I want to watch the damn movie. I think whoever caught on to that stuff is just perverted and has too much time on their hands.
ok, first of all I love veggie tales-they're so cute!But I do agree just about every children s movie has some type of subtle adult humor. Maybe it is to keep the parents attention a little better. I don't think they would purposely want to take their kids to a movie just because they know it will be there though. It's a subtle marketing strategy,I think.
I know what your mean with the adult humor. I also have noticed at least one scene that contains adult humor in just about every disney movie i have seen. Personally i think that this is kind of funny in an ironic sort of way. However, i dont know if i agree with it. I don't think that this humor has a place in movies meant for small children, but since the children watching are so young i dont think they would get the humor anyway.
