Rock of Love

As I flipped through the channels a while back, I came across Rock of Love on VH1. It stars Bret Michaels of the band Poison. I like some of their music, so I thought it would be interesting to see what Michaels is up to now. The aim of the show certainly isn't to give the viewer much of an idea where he is today; it is about Michaels finding "love." This is one of the more disgusting shows on TV, in my opinion. The women in this show are degraded to essentially a piece of meat. They make fools of themselves in ridiculous competitions, wear little to nothing, and drink as though alcohol is going out of production. I'm certainly not for censorship, but is this really entertainment?

You just now found this show? It’s actually in its third season. The past two seasons were at least somewhat watchable… But the Rock of Love on Tour is practically censored porn. I watched the past two seasons of Rock of Love on and off… but this third season is FARRRRRRRRRR WORSE than the other two combined. They always find the most nauseating kind of “women” in America and put them together in cramped quarters. I totally agree with you, this is NOT entertainment. But, its kind of like a train wreck… you just can’t hide your eyes for long.
With all the half naked women parading around, constantly drunk you almost miss the point of the show... for Bret to find love. Bret Michaels… I want to give you a little advice… You will not find REAL honest LOVE with ANY of these women. In fact, until you decide what your priorities are you will always be alone. You are 40-something with hair extensions and a fake tan… you put yourself and your career ahead of love. So good luck.
